Smile & Springs organises door-to-door dental treatment trips to Dombóvár, Hungary — EU-trained dentists, one booking that covers everything from airport pickup to appointments, and your recovery days spent at a certified medicinal thermal spa instead of a hotel corridor.

Who writes this site

Smile & Springs was founded by Márk, who is building the service and writes the guides published here. Every article is researched against published price lists, regulatory sources and the practical realities of treatment travel — and each one links its sources so you can check our claims yourself.

How our guides are checked

We hold ourselves to three rules:

• Sources over claims. Cost figures come from published UK, Canadian and Hungarian private price lists, refreshed when we update an article — the visible date on each guide is real. Regulatory statements cite the primary source: the General Dental Council, NHS dental services, and EU Directive 2011/24/EU on cross-border healthcare.
• We say when not to come. If you need one filling or a single simple crown, our own guides tell you to stay home — the savings don't cover the trip. Advice that costs us bookings is how you know the rest is honest.
• No outcome promises. Dentistry is medicine, not retail. We publish guide prices and typical timelines; your written, personalised treatment plan and quote come from the clinic before you book anything.

When our partner clinic is announced, its dentists will medically review every clinical guide on this site, and each article's byline will name the reviewing dentist and their qualifications. We won't attach a dentist's name to anything they haven't actually reviewed — which is why you don't see one yet.

Why Dombóvár

Hungary has been Europe's dental destination for over thirty years — but almost all of it happens in Budapest clinics, with patients organising their own hotels and taxis between appointments.
