How a door-to-door dental trip works, step by step

The biggest hidden cost of dental treatment abroad isn't money — it's project management. Booking hotels around surgery dates, finding taxis in a language you don't speak, hoping the clinic and the accommodation agree on your schedule. Our package deletes all of it. Here's the entire journey, in order.

Before you fly

1. Remote consultation and written plan

You send us recent X-rays or a panoramic scan (your home dentist can supply one; we can also arrange imaging on day one in Hungary). Our dentist reviews it and returns a written, itemised treatment plan with a fixed quote — treatments, materials, implant brands, number of visits, and total price. No commitment until you've read it, questioned it, and ideally shown it to your home dentist.

2. You book one thing: the flight

Direct flights to Budapest run daily from London and other UK airports (about 2.5 hours) and from Toronto (about 8.5 hours, seasonal direct or one-stop year-round). Pick times that suit you, then send us the flight details. From that moment, logistics are our job.

3. We build your itinerary

Around your flights we confirm your driver, your accommodation in Dombóvár, and every dental appointment — delivered to you as one simple day-by-day schedule before you leave home.

The trip itself

4. Landing and pickup

Your English-speaking driver waits at Budapest Airport arrivals with your name on a board. Private car, help with bags, water in the door pocket. The drive to Dombóvár takes about two hours through the Transdanubian countryside — most patients sleep through it, which is exactly right.

5. Settling into the spa town

Your accommodation is minutes from both the clinic and the Gunaras thermal baths, whose mineral waters hold Hungary's official medicinal certification. 6. Treatment days

Appointments are a short walk away. The plan you approved at home is the plan that happens; any clinically necessary change is explained and priced in writing before anything is done. Between appointments, your time is your own — which in Dombóvár means the baths. (Your dentist will tell you when soaking is fine and when to wait; the first days after surgical steps are pool-free.)

7. For implants: the second visit

Implants integrate with bone over three to six months, so the final crowns are fitted on a second, shorter trip. We schedule it before you leave, and the same door-to-door machinery applies. Many patients treat visit two as the pure holiday — the dentistry is the quick part.

The way home

8. Budapest, if you want it

When treatment wraps, your driver takes you back towards the airport with an option most patients take: a day or two in Budapest first. The Parliament, the Danube at night, the Széchenyi baths if you haven't had enough warm water, the café houses. We drop you at your hotel and collect you for the flight.

9. Documentation in your hand

You leave with your full clinical records, implant passport (brand and batch of anything placed), the written guarantee, and aftercare instructions — everything your home dentist needs for future check-ups.

You make two decisions on the whole trip: which flight, and whether to finish with Budapest. Everything between is handled.

What this costs you to manage: nothing

The package price covers pickup, all transfers, accommodation, coordination and your treatment as quoted.
